1. Introduction and Who We Are

This Privacy Policy describes how Liquid Alchemy ("we", "us", "our"), a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Meenali Sukhwani, collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal data when you visit our websites at liquidalchemy.in and academy.liquidalchemy.in (together, our "website"), use our free tools such as calculators, join or buy the Challenge, register for our workshops, book a 1:1 call, or interact with us through any other channel including WhatsApp, Instagram, and email.

Liquid Alchemy is the Data Fiduciary as defined under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the applicable rules thereunder. Our address is 304, The Capital, Next to Mega Center, Hadapsar Square, Pune – 411 028.

By visiting our website, submitting a form, using a calculator, making a purchase, or registering for a workshop, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described herein.

2. Legal Framework

This Privacy Policy is prepared in compliance with the following applicable laws and regulations:

  • The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the DPDP Rules, 2025, as notified by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India
  • The Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011
  • The Consumer Protection Act, 2019, to the extent applicable to our e-commerce and service activities
  • Any other applicable regulations issued by the Government of India or competent regulatory authorities from time to time

3. What Personal Data We Collect

We collect only the personal data that is necessary for the purposes described in this policy. The categories of personal data we collect are as follows:

3.1 Data you provide directly to us

  • Identity data: your name
  • Contact data: email address and phone number (including your WhatsApp number), and your delivery address if you buy the Challenge
  • Earning Calculator data: when you use our Earning Calculator and enter your name, email address and WhatsApp number to see your results, we save these details together with the products and the number of pieces you chose, the results worked out for you (material cost, time, revenue and gross profit), the exact wording of the consent you agreed to and the time you agreed, and the advertisement or link that brought you to the calculator. We also create a private link to your results, which works for 90 days. The changes you make to the numbers on your results page are not saved.
  • Survey data: when you take our own-income survey and enter your name, email address and WhatsApp number to see your result, we save these details together with your answers (your age band, whether you are married or a student or not married, whether you earn any money now, your past experience of earning, how you feel about making things with your hands, what stops you the most from starting something of your own, and what you would do first with your own money), the result worked out for you, the exact wording of the consent you agreed to and the time you agreed, and the advertisement or link that brought you to the survey. If you choose "Something else" for what you would do first and write a few words, we keep those words only as a private note on your record with us. They are never shown on any page and never put in any message. We also create a private link to your result, which works for 90 days. Before you opt in, your answers stay in your browser only.
  • Email sign-up data: when you sign up on our website to receive resin art tips and enter your name, email address and mobile number, we save these details together with the exact wording of the consent you agreed to and the time you agreed.
  • Anonymous step counts: on the survey and the Earning Calculator we count how many visitors reach each step (for example which question they reached and which option they chose, including the optional question about where you live, which is not saved with your details). These counts do not include your name or any contact details and cannot be traced back to you.
  • Transaction data: details of your purchases, workshop registrations and bookings, the payment method used, and transaction reference numbers. We do not receive or store your full card, UPI PIN or bank details; these are handled by Razorpay.
  • Communication data: messages, enquiries, feedback, and other correspondence you send to us via forms, WhatsApp, email, or Instagram DMs
  • Workshop and call data: any other information you provide when registering for a workshop or booking a 1:1 call
  • Order and batch data: the time you confirm your kit has arrived, the batch you are placed in, and the link or source (for example, which page or campaign) that brought you to the Challenge page.
  • Funnel history: each time you opt in through any of our pages (for example a free tool, an offer or the Challenge), we keep a record of it, with the date and the source, so we know which of our pages you have used.
  • Details of other people: if you buy the Challenge for someone else, we also collect that person's name and any contact details you choose to give us. You confirm you have their permission to share them.
  • Call recordings: 1:1 calls may be recorded. We save the recordings for 2 weeks and then permanently delete them.
  • Live session recordings: the group live sessions of the Challenge are recorded and made available to Challenge students. If you speak or turn your camera on, your voice, image or the name you joined with may appear in the recording.
  • Progress and attendance data: the daily actions you tick, your Challenger pledge, the names of your two products, and your Business Proof Tracker. We also record which live sessions you attended and for how long, using the name you joined the session with (taken from the meeting's attendance report). We use this to apply the finish rules, rank students and give certificates and prizes.
  • Details of the people you ask: in your tracker you may enter details of other people, such as a first name, how they are related to you, what they answered, any price they mentioned and your notes. Please enter only what you are comfortable recording and what those people would be comfortable with. We use it only for your tracker and for checking Challenge results.
  • Certificate data: the name you ask us to print on your certificate, your batch, the completion date, a certificate number and, for the top three finishers, your rank.
  • Details saved before payment: when you fill in your details and press Continue, we save them even if you do not complete payment. We use them to follow up on the incomplete order, for example by messaging you, and we keep them as described in Section 7.
  • Student portal data (workshops): your student information, login credentials and access records for the Liquid Alchemy student portal used by our workshops, which is hosted on Wix Online Programs at studio.liquidalchemy.in. The Challenge does not use this portal: Challenge students use the My Challenge page on this website.

3.2 Data collected automatically when you visit our website

  • Usage data: pages visited, time spent on pages, links clicked, and navigation patterns on liquidalchemy.in and academy.liquidalchemy.in
  • Device and technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen resolution, and referring URL
  • Cookie and tracking data: data collected through the Meta Pixel and similar technologies, as described in Section 8

3.3 Data collected through third-party platforms

  • Instagram: if you contact us via Instagram DMs, follow our account, or interact with our posts, Instagram's own data collection applies in addition to this policy
  • WhatsApp: if you contact us via WhatsApp, or we message you there, WhatsApp's privacy policy applies to those communications
  • Vercel: this website is hosted on Vercel, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the website
  • Wix: the student portal used by our workshops is hosted on Wix at studio.liquidalchemy.in, where our shop and blog also run. Wix collects certain technical and usage data as part of its hosting services. Wix's privacy policy is available at wix.com/about/privacy

4. How We Use Your Personal Data

We use your personal data only for the purposes for which it was collected, or for directly related purposes that you would reasonably expect. Specifically, we use your data for the following purposes:

4.1 To provide our services

  • Processing your Challenge purchase and dispatching your Material Kit

  • Showing you the result of the survey, saving it, and sending you your result with a private link to it by email and WhatsApp
  • Processing workshop registrations, confirming your seat in a batch, and communicating pre-workshop information including venue details, timings, and preparation instructions
  • Scheduling and holding 1:1 calls, which may be recorded
  • Providing access to the student portal on Wix Online Programs
  • Responding to enquiries, questions, and support requests

4.2 To process payments

  • Maintaining transaction records for accounting, tax compliance, and dispute resolution

4.3 To communicate with you

  • Sending confirmation emails or messages, receipts, order and tracking updates, and booking details
  • WhatsApp and other order communication (opt-in): when you give us your mobile number on the order form, you opt in to our using that number to send you order information (confirmation, shipping and tracking updates, your batch schedule, joining links) and other important communications about your Challenge, as needed, on WhatsApp and by SMS or email. These include a reminder with a payment link if you leave an order unfinished, reminders about confirming your kit, session and deadline reminders, a notice when your certificate is ready, and refund notices. These WhatsApp messages are sent through the WhatsApp Business platform connected to our Zoho CRM, so Zoho and Meta process your number and the content of the message for this purpose. We send promotional WhatsApp messages only to people who have agreed to receive them, for example by ticking the offers box on one of our forms. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP or by contacting us, but we may still need to send essential order messages by email.
  • Earning Calculator (opt-in): when you tick the consent box and enter your WhatsApp number and email address on the Earning Calculator, you agree that we may use them to send you your results and relevant offers from Liquid Alchemy on WhatsApp and by email. Offers may include information about the Challenge and our other programmes. You can stop optional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails, and you can ask us to stop messaging you on WhatsApp at any time (see Section 9.3).
  • Survey (opt-in): when you tick the consent box and enter your WhatsApp number and email address on the survey, you agree that we may use them to send you your result and relevant offers from Liquid Alchemy on WhatsApp and by email. Offers may include information about the Challenge and our other programmes. You can stop optional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails, and you can ask us to stop messaging you on WhatsApp at any time (see Section 9.3).
  • Website email sign-up (opt-in): when you tick the consent box and enter your name, email address and mobile number to sign up for resin art tips on our website, you agree that we may use them to send you resin art tips and relevant offers from Liquid Alchemy by email and WhatsApp. Offers may include information about the Challenge and our other programmes. You can stop optional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails, and you can ask us to stop messaging you on WhatsApp at any time (see Section 9.3).
  • Challenge order form (offers box): on the Challenge order form you can tick an optional box: “I also agree to receive relevant offers from Liquid Alchemy on WhatsApp and email.” If you tick it, you agree that we may use your WhatsApp number and email address to send you relevant offers, which may include information about the Challenge and our other programmes. You do not have to tick it. Whether you tick it or not, we will still send you the messages about your order. You can stop offers at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails, or by replying STOP to a WhatsApp message.
  • Managing your contact details, funnel history (which of our pages you have used), orders and conversation history in Zoho One, our business software suite, including Zoho CRM for contact management
  • Optional emails (updates and offers): you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of our emails. This stops optional emails, but we will still send essential emails about your orders, such as receipts and your batch schedule.
  • Responding to your messages and enquiries

4.4 To improve our website and services

  • Analysing how visitors use our website in order to improve content, navigation, and user experience
  • Understanding which offers, tools, or content generate the most interest

4.5 For marketing and advertising

  • Showing you relevant advertisements on Meta platforms (Instagram and Facebook) using the Meta Pixel, unless you opt out (see Section 8)
  • Measuring and improving our advertising by sending certain actions (such as submitting a form or completing a payment) from our server to Meta in hashed form, so that Meta can match the action to the advertisement you saw (see Section 8)
  • Measuring the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns using aggregated and anonymised data where possible, including which advertisement a visitor to the Earning Calculator or the survey came from

4.6 For legal and compliance purposes

  • Maintaining records required under applicable tax laws, including the Goods and Services Tax Act
  • Complying with lawful requests from government authorities or courts
  • Enforcing our Terms of Use and other applicable policies

5. Legal Basis for Processing Your Data

Under the DPDP Act, 2023, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Consent: where you have given us clear and explicit consent, for example by submitting a form, using a calculator, ticking a consent box, giving your mobile number for order communication, or opting in to WhatsApp messages
  • Contractual necessity: where processing is necessary to fulfil a contract with you, for example to process your Challenge order or workshop registration
  • Legitimate interests: where processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights, for example analysing website usage to improve our services
  • Legal obligation: where processing is required to comply with applicable laws, including tax and financial record-keeping obligations

6. How We Share Your Personal Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for their own marketing purposes. We share your data only in the following limited circumstances:

6.1 Service providers and platform partners

We share personal data with the following third-party service providers who process data on our behalf, strictly for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Vercel: hosting of this website
  • Wix.com: hosting of the student portal used by our workshops (Wix Online Programs), including student information and login credentials. Wix acts as a data processor under our agreement with them.
  • Razorpay: payment processing. Razorpay is bound by its own security and privacy standards and terms.
  • Zoho: contact and customer-relationship management (Zoho One, including Zoho CRM, Zoho Bookings for 1:1 call bookings, Zoho Meeting for call links, live sessions, attendance reports and recordings, Zoho Mail, and related Zoho apps)
  • Google (Google Sheets): to prepare and ship your order, your order details, including your name, phone number, email and delivery address, are copied to a private Google Sheet used by our team.
  • WhatsApp (Meta): messaging with you. We send WhatsApp messages through the WhatsApp Business platform connected to Zoho CRM, so the messages pass through Zoho and Meta.
  • Certificate verification page: each certificate has a number and a verification page on this website. Anyone who has the certificate number or link can see the name on the certificate, the batch, the completion date and, for the top finishers, the rank, to confirm that it is genuine. You decide whether to share your certificate. We do not publish a list of certificate holders.
  • Meta Platforms (Instagram and Facebook): advertising and analytics via the Meta Pixel. We send general event information (for example that a purchase or booking took place) and never the price or your payment details. We also send some of these actions from our server, together with your email address and mobile number in a one-way encrypted (hashed) form, to improve ad measurement (see Section 8). Meta's data practices are governed by Meta's Privacy Policy.
  • Neon (managed database): your order, lead and batch records are stored in a managed database provided by Neon. The servers are located in Singapore, so your data is processed outside India.
  • ZeptoMail and Zoho Mail (Zoho): receipts, order emails and other messages are sent through ZeptoMail, and we use Zoho Mail for our email correspondence with you.
  • YouTube (Google): when you press play on a video on this website, the video is loaded from YouTube and Google's own privacy practices apply to that video. We load the player only when you press play. The recordings of the Challenge's live sessions are also stored on YouTube as unlisted videos (only people with the link can watch them), and Google's own privacy practices apply to them.
  • WhatsApp groups: the Challenge uses WhatsApp groups and a community. Other members of a group can see your phone number and name. You join only by invitation sent to you, and you can leave a group at any time.
  • Delhivery (courier partner): for Challenge kit orders, your name, phone number and delivery address are shared with Delhivery, or another courier we use if Delhivery cannot serve your location, solely to deliver your order.

6.2 Legal and regulatory disclosures

We may disclose your personal data to government authorities, courts, or law enforcement agencies if required to do so by law, court order, or other legal process, or if we reasonably believe that such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

6.3 Business transfers

In the unlikely event that Liquid Alchemy is sold, merged, or otherwise transferred to another party, your personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same privacy protections described in this policy.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Our general retention periods are as follows:

  • Workshop registration and student data: retained for a period of 3 years from the date of the workshop, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised
  • Transaction and payment records: retained for a minimum of 7 years in accordance with requirements under the Income Tax Act, 1961 and the Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017
  • Customer and lead records (Zoho CRM): kept for as long as Liquid Alchemy exists, so that we can serve and support you and tell you about related offers. We reserve the right to delete customer records and all related data at our own discretion, without notice to you. You can also ask us to erase your data (see Section 9.2).
  • Call recordings: kept for 2 weeks and then permanently deleted.
  • Live session recordings: kept for as long as the student portal (for the Challenge, your My Challenge page) is offered, and then deleted.
  • Progress, tracker and attendance records: kept for as long as the student portal (for the Challenge, your My Challenge page) is offered, so that you can see your results, and then deleted.
  • Certificates and their verification page: kept for as long as Liquid Alchemy exists, so that a certificate can still be verified, unless a certificate is withdrawn or you ask us to delete your data (see Section 9.2).
  • Earning Calculator results and saved links: your private results link stops working 90 days after you opt in. The record of what you chose and of the consent you gave is kept with your lead record in Zoho CRM, as described above.
  • Survey results and saved links: your private result link stops working 90 days after you opt in. Your answers and the consent you gave are kept with your lead record in Zoho CRM, as described above. The anonymous step counts are kept without any personal details.
  • Website email sign-up: your details and the consent you gave are kept with your lead record in Zoho CRM, as described above, until you ask us to stop and delete them.
  • WhatsApp opt-in records: retained until you opt out, at which point we stop messaging you and remove you from our messaging lists within 30 days
  • Cookie and analytics data: as determined by the retention periods of the respective cookies and platforms, as described in Section 8

When personal data is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or anonymise it.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website uses the Meta Pixel and similar technologies for analytics and marketing purposes.

8.1 What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device on subsequent visits and remember certain information about your preferences or behaviour.

8.2 What we use

  • Marketing and advertising (Meta Pixel): the Meta Pixel is a piece of code on our website that allows us to measure the effectiveness of our Instagram and Facebook advertising by tracking actions visitors take on our website. It may also be used to show you relevant Liquid Alchemy advertisements on Meta platforms after you visit our website. This is sometimes referred to as retargeting. The Pixel loads when you visit any page of this website, except the private link to your saved calculator results, where it does not load. On the Earning Calculator, the events we send are general ones (for example that the calculator page was viewed, that someone opted in, that the results were viewed and that the Challenge button was pressed), together with the name of the advertisement. From your browser, the Pixel never sends your name, email address, phone number or the figures you chose. To measure and improve our advertising, we also send certain actions (such as submitting your details on one of our forms, or completing a payment) from our server to Meta, together with your email address and mobile number in a one-way encrypted (hashed) form, so that Meta can match the action to the advertisement you saw. We do not send your answers, your messages, your name or your payment details.
  • Strictly necessary technical data: basic data needed for the website to be delivered and to work securely, including a secure cookie that lets you open your own order and batch schedule after you pay, and short-lived browser storage that remembers which link or campaign brought you to us, your booking details for a moment, and the choices you make in the Earning Calculator while you use it.
  • Student portal (Wix): if you log in to the workshop student portal, shop or blog at studio.liquidalchemy.in, Wix sets its own cookies as part of its hosting. Details are in Wix's Cookie Policy and the privacy policy on studio.liquidalchemy.in.

8.3 Managing your preferences

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies, delete existing cookies, or receive a notification when a new cookie is placed. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our website.

For the Meta Pixel specifically, you can opt out of targeted advertising by visiting your Facebook or Instagram account settings under Ads Preferences, or by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page.

9. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act, 2023

As a Data Principal under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

9.1 Right to access

You have the right to request a summary of the personal data we hold about you and the purposes for which it is being processed.

9.2 Right to correction and erasure

You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data, or erase personal data that we hold about you, where it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to any legal retention obligations we are required to comply with.

9.3 Right to withdraw consent

Where we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. You can withdraw your consent to WhatsApp messages by replying STOP to any message or by contacting us. You can also ask us at any time to stop sending you offers. For other consent-based processing, please contact us using the details in Section 12.

9.4 Right to grievance redressal

You have the right to register a grievance with us regarding the processing of your personal data. We will respond to all grievances within a reasonable time, not exceeding 30 days from receipt. See Section 12 for grievance contact details.

9.5 Right to nominate

Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to nominate another individual to exercise your data rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity. To register a nomination, please contact us using the details in Section 12.

9.6 Right to complain to the Data Protection Board

If you are not satisfied with our response to your grievance, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India, once the Board is fully constituted and operational under the DPDP Act. Information about the Board and how to file a complaint will be available at the MeitY website (meity.gov.in) when the Board becomes operational.

To exercise any of the above rights, please contact us using the details provided in Section 12. We will respond to your request within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

10. Children's Privacy

Our website, workshops, and products are not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 without verifiable parental or guardian consent. Workshop participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and registration for such participants requires explicit consent from the accompanying adult.

If you believe that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 16 without appropriate consent, please contact us immediately at the details provided in Section 12 and we will take prompt steps to delete the relevant data.

11. Data Security

We take the security of your personal data seriously and implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it against unauthorised access, loss, destruction, alteration, or disclosure. These measures include:

  • This website is hosted on Vercel and uses HTTPS encryption for data in transit; the student portal is hosted on Wix, which applies industry-standard security measures including SSL/TLS encryption
  • Access to personal data held by us is restricted to authorised personnel only
  • Payment transactions are processed via Razorpay's secure, encrypted payment gateway
  • We do not store full payment card details on our systems

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we take all reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal data. In the event of a data breach that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required under applicable law.

12. Contact Us and Grievance Officer

For any questions, requests, or grievances related to this Privacy Policy or the processing of your personal data, please contact:

We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days and endeavour to resolve it within 30 days of receipt.

13. Third-Party Websites and Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including our shop, blog and student portal at studio.liquidalchemy.in and our social media profiles on Instagram and YouTube. This Privacy Policy applies to liquidalchemy.in and academy.liquidalchemy.in. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party website, and we encourage you to read the privacy policies of any website you visit through links on our site. The shop, blog and student portal at studio.liquidalchemy.in run on Wix and have their own privacy policy.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the services we offer, or applicable legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of our website after any changes to this policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with this Privacy Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
