8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your experience and for analytics and marketing purposes.

8.1 What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device on subsequent visits and remember certain information about your preferences or behaviour.

8.2 Types of cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary cookies: These are essential for the website to function. They enable core features such as page navigation, secure areas, and the shopping cart. These cannot be disabled.

  • Marketing and advertising cookies (Meta Pixel): The Meta Pixel is a piece of code on our website that allows us to measure the effectiveness of our Instagram and Facebook advertising by tracking actions visitors take on our website. It may also be used to show you relevant Liquid Alchemy advertisements on Meta platforms after you visit our website. This is sometimes referred to as retargeting.

  • Wix platform cookies: Wix places certain cookies on our website as part of its hosting and operational infrastructure. Details of Wix's cookies are available in Wix's Cookie Policy.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies, delete existing cookies, or receive a notification when a new cookie is placed. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our website.

For Meta Pixel specifically, you can opt out of targeted advertising by visiting your Facebook or Instagram account settings under Ads Preferences, or by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page.
