Shipping Policy

1. Introduction

This Shipping Policy applies to all physical product orders placed through the Liquid Alchemy shop at liquidalchemy.in. It does not apply to workshop registrations, online course enrolments, or student portal access, which are governed separately by our Terms of Use.

 

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order. By completing a purchase on our website, you agree to the terms described herein.

2. Where we ship

We ship pan-India — to all states and union territories across India, including Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and the Northeast states.

 

We do not currently offer international shipping. If you are located outside India and wish to enquire about a specific order, please contact us at [your contact email] or WhatsApp us on 8483829386 and we will assess feasibility on a case-by-case basis.

3. Courier Partners

All orders are dispatched through reputable courier partners. The name of the courier partner assigned to your order and the tracking number will be shared with you via WhatsApp and email once your order has been dispatched.

 

We reserve the right to choose the most appropriate courier partner for your order based on your delivery location, the size and weight of the product, and operational availability at the time of dispatch. We work with partners who provide reliable pan-India coverage and real-time tracking.

4. Order Processing and Dispatch Timelines

Because all Liquid Alchemy products are handcrafted, dispatch timelines vary based on product type. Please read this section carefully before placing your order.

4.1 Ready products

 

Products listed as available in the shop that are already made and ready for dispatch will be processed and dispatched within 2 business days of order confirmation and receipt of full payment.

 

4.2 Customised products

 

Products that require personalisation, custom colours, specific dimensions, or are made fresh to order involve a curing and finishing process that cannot be rushed. Resin requires adequate curing time to achieve the quality and durability that Liquid Alchemy products are known for. These orders will be dispatched within 7 to 15 business days of order confirmation, depending on the specific product and its complexity.

 

For customised orders, we will confirm the expected dispatch timeline with you at the time your order is confirmed. If there is any delay beyond the committed timeline, we will proactively notify you via WhatsApp.

 

4.3 Commissioned and large custom projects

 

Large commissioned pieces — including ocean wave table tops, large wall art panels, custom furniture inlays, and other bespoke projects — are handled differently from standard shop orders. The timeline, shipping method, packaging approach, and any associated shipping costs are discussed and mutually agreed upon with the client at the time the commission is confirmed.

 

Timelines for commissioned projects can range from a few weeks to several months depending on the complexity of the project, the curing and finishing requirements of the specific resin work involved, current studio workload, and material availability.

 

No commissioned project will be shipped without prior confirmation from the client that they are satisfied with the agreed timeline and shipping arrangement.

5. Shipping Charges

5.1 Standard shipping

Shipping is free on all orders above ₹1,999.

 

For orders below ₹1,999, a shipping charge will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on your delivery location and the weight of your order.

 

5.2 Large and heavy products

 

Certain products — including wall clocks, large decorative frames, resin trays, and other sizeable pieces — require specialised packaging materials such as custom foam inserts, wooden crating, or double-box packing to ensure safe transit. These products are also heavier than standard parcels and attract higher courier charges.

 

The additional packaging and shipping cost for such products will be clearly communicated to you before your order is confirmed. This cost is borne by the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing at the time of order confirmation.

 

5.3 Commissioned orders

​

Shipping charges for commissioned and large custom projects are pre-agreed with the client as part of the order confirmation process. These charges are not governed by the standard free-shipping threshold and are determined based on the size, weight, fragility, and destination of the specific piece.

6. Estimated Delivery Timelines

The following delivery timelines are estimates from the date of dispatch and are subject to courier performance, weather conditions, and factors beyond our control:

Pune (local) : 1 – 2 business days

Maharashtra (outside Pune) : 2 – 4 business days

Metro cities (Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata) : 3 – 5 business days

Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities : 4 – 7 business days

Remote areas, J&K, Ladakh, Northeast states : 7 – 14 business days

These timelines are in addition to the processing and dispatch timelines described in Section 4. Please plan your purchase accordingly, especially for gifting occasions.

7. Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a WhatsApp message and email containing:

​

  • The name of the courier partner

  • Your tracking number or AWB number

  • A link to track your shipment in real time

8. Local Studio Pickup - Pune

Customers based in Pune or nearby areas are welcome to collect their order directly from the Liquid Alchemy studio in Hadapsar, Pune, at no shipping charge.

 

To arrange a studio pickup:

​

  • Select or request the pickup option at the time of ordering

  • We will contact you via WhatsApp once your order is ready for collection

  • Pickup appointments are available during studio hours, which will be confirmed at the time of scheduling

  • Please bring a valid photo ID and your order confirmation when collecting your order

 

Studio pickup is available for all product types, including large commissioned pieces where shipping may otherwise be complex or expensive.

9. Packaging

We take the packaging of our resin art products extremely seriously. Every piece that leaves the Liquid Alchemy studio is individually wrapped and packed to withstand the rigours of transit across India.

Standard packaging includes bubble wrap, foam padding, and corrugated outer boxes. Larger and more fragile pieces receive additional reinforcement including custom foam inserts, corner protectors, and where necessary, wooden crating.

 

Despite our best efforts, transit damage can occasionally occur due to rough handling by courier partners. We strongly recommend filming a short unboxing video when you receive your order — this is your best protection in the event of a damage claim. Please refer to our Returns and Refunds Policy for how to report transit damage.

10. Delays and Exceptions

We will make every reasonable effort to dispatch your order within the committed timeline. However, delays may occasionally occur due to:

  • High order volumes during festive seasons or sale periods

  • Delays in sourcing specific materials for custom orders

  • Force majeure events including natural disasters, strikes, or government-imposed restrictions

  • Courier delays beyond our control once the order has been dispatched

 

In all such cases, we will notify you proactively via WhatsApp and provide a revised estimated timeline. If a significant delay occurs and you wish to cancel your order before dispatch, a full refund will be provided.

11. Incorrect or Incomplete Delivery Address

Please ensure that the delivery address you provide at checkout is complete and accurate, including the full flat or house number, street name, landmark, city, state, and PIN code.

Liquid Alchemy is not responsible for non-delivery or delay caused by an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer. If a shipment is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we will contact you to arrange redelivery at the customer's cost.
