The Artistic Chess Set is Liquid Alchemy's premium chess offering, a handcrafted epoxy resin chess board and full set of pieces built in the Frozen Ice colourway. This is not a functional object that happens to look beautiful. It is a sculptural commission that happens to be playable.
The Frozen Ice colourway is built using advanced layering and inclusion techniques, crystal clear resin, ice white pigment, holographic inclusions and silver metallic detailing combine to create a board and pieces that carry the depth, clarity and cold luminosity of ice. Each piece is individually cast and finished by hand at our studio in Pune. The board is built in multiple resin layers, each one adding depth and dimension to the final surface. At this level of craft, no two sets are identical. The inclusions settle differently in every pour, the layers interact uniquely each time.
The full set includes all 32 pieces and the board, each piece finished to a mirror gloss and packaged with care. It is equally at home as a centrepiece on a dining table, a statement piece in a living room or a collector's display object.
Every Artistic Chess Set is fully customisable. The Frozen Ice colourway is our signature direction for this piece, but if you have a different colour vision, we will discuss it. Gold and black, deep ocean, geode, bring your brief and we will tell you what is possible.
