The workshop is designed for complete beginners as well as those with some resin experience who want a structured, commercial-grade foundation. Unlike most resin workshops that teach you to make one or two decorative pieces, this programme is built around one goal: giving you the skills and knowledge to start a resin art business from home.

This workshop is designed for anyone who wants to learn resin art seriously, whether your goal is creative expression, a side income, or a full-time home-based business. You do not need any prior experience with resin, art, or craft. We have designed the programme to work equally well for complete beginners and for those who have tried resin at home but feel they lack structured guidance. Most resin art workshops in Pune are single-day or half-day sessions where you make one or two products and go home. The Liquid Alchemy 2-Day Intensive is fundamentally different in three ways.
First, the scope: 15 products and 45 techniques across two full days versus 1–2 products in a typical workshop.

Q4. What will I actually make during the workshop?
You will work on 15 products across three learning tiers. In the hands-on tier, where you make everything yourself, you will create Bloom Coasters, Textured Coasters, Ocean Waves Coasters, Alphabet Keychains, Personalised Keychains, Bookmarks and sun-catchers. In the group tier, working in teams with other participants, you will create a beautiful chess set with all chess pieces. In the demonstration tier, where the instructor demonstrates advanced techniques you will be able to recreate independently, you will observe the making of Varmala Preservation, advanced Bloom Coasters, an Ocean Wave Table Top, a Bloom wall clock, an o Ocean wave wall clock and an Artistic Chess Board. But here as well, the you will practice the techniques used in these products with your own hands.

The 45 techniques taught in this workshop cover the full spectrum of resin art, from foundational skills to advanced decorative effects. Q6. What is the batch size and why does it matter?
Each batch of the Liquid Alchemy 2-Day Intensive has a maximum of 30 students, but with 3 instructors on the floor. This makes the student to instructor ratio os 10:1. This is a deliberate decision, not a logistical one. Resin art requires direct, hands-on guidance, especially for techniques like cells creation, wave formation, and 3D casting where small errors in timing or temperature can ruin a piece. With a student to instructor ratio os just 10:1, the instructors can observe every student's work in real time, correct technique before mistakes cure permanently, and give personalised attention throughout both days. Workshops with 20–30 students and just one instructor are not able to offer this level of mentorship. The small batch size per instructor is one of the most important reasons our students leave with commercially saleable work rather than beginner practice pieces.
Q7. What happens on each day of the workshop?
Day 1 focuses on foundation and technique. You begin with resin science fundamentals such as ratios, curing, temperature control, and colour mixing, before moving into hands-on practice with the coaster series, keychains, and bookmarks. The afternoon includes a demonstration of Bloom Coasters using advanced techniques, followed by the first two business sessions on pricing and packaging. Day 2 focuses on advanced work and business. You begin with the group projects such as wall clocks, chess board, and resin tray, before the afternoon demonstration of the highest-value pieces including the Ocean Wave Table Top and Artistic Chess Board. Business sessions 3 through 6 cover your first 10 sales, Instagram content strategy, corporate gifting, and scaling your practice. The day closes with certificate presentation, group photos, and sharing of your portal access details.

Eligibility and Preparation
Q1. Do I need any prior experience to attend this workshop?
No experience is required. The workshop starts from very first basic resin art principles like what resin is, how it works chemically, why ratios matter, and how temperature and humidity affect your work. These fundamentals are taught before any hands-on practice begins, so you are never lost regardless of your background. Many of our strongest students have come in with no craft experience at all. What matters is not where you are starting from, it is how seriously you approach the two days.
Q2. Is resin art workshop suitable for complete beginners?
Absolutely. This workshop is specifically structured to work for complete beginners. We do not assume any prior knowledge of resin, art materials, or craft techniques. The programme moves from foundational science through basic techniques and into advanced work progressively. Each session builds on the one before it. By the end of Day 1, students who arrived with zero experience are confidently working with pigments, moulds, and finishing techniques. By the end of Day 2, they have created work that is commercially saleable.
Q3. What should I wear to the workshop?
Wear clothes you are comfortable potentially getting resin on. Resin stains permanently once cured, and even careful artists occasionally get splashes during pouring. Dark colours are a practical choice. Avoid loose sleeves that could drag through wet resin. We have aprons available at the studio, but wearing workshop-appropriate clothing underneath is a sensible precaution. Closed-toe shoes are recommended as resin spills on the work surface occasionally.
Q4. What do I need to bring to the workshop?
Nothing except yourself. All resin materials, hardener, pigments, glitters, gold leaf, moulds, mixing cups, stir sticks, heat guns, UV torches, gloves, and protective equipment are provided by the studio. You do not need to purchase or carry any supplies. If you would like to take notes, bring a notebook, though many students photograph the instructor's explanations on their phone, which is perfectly fine.
Q5. Are there any age restrictions for attending the workshop?
The workshop is open to participants aged 16 and above. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of both days, or provide a declaration, as the workshop involves chemical materials that require adult supervision and responsibility. There is no upper age limit. Resin art is a craft that can be practised and enjoyed at any age.
Q6. Can I attend if I am pregnant?
We strongly advise pregnant women not to attend this workshop. Epoxy resin involves chemical fumes during mixing and curing that, even in a ventilated studio environment, and are not considered safe for extended exposure during pregnancy. Please consult your doctor before attending any resin art workshop if you are pregnant or trying to conceive. Your health and safety take absolute priority.
Q7. Is the workshop physically demanding?
The workshop is not physically demanding in the conventional sense, but it does involve standing for extended periods at work tables, reaching across surfaces, and occasional light lifting of moulds and boards. If you have a specific physical condition that may be affected by standing for 4–5 hours at a time, please let us know in advance and we will ensure appropriate seating and workspace adjustments are made. Q1. Where exactly is the workshop held?
The workshop is held at the Liquid Alchemy studio in Hadapsar, Pune or in a banquet hall depending on availability. The exact address is shared with confirmed participants after registration. This is standard practice to maintain the privacy and focus of our small-batch sessions. Hadapsar is well connected to most parts of Pune by auto-rickshaw, cab, and public transport. Parking is available nearby for those travelling by personal vehicle.
Q2. What are the workshop timings?
The workshop runs from 9:00 AM to approximately 6:00 PM on both days. Participants are requested to arrive by 8:45 AM on Day 1 for registration and studio orientation. A lunch break of approximately one hour is provided each day. Refreshments like tea, coffee, and drinking water are available throughout both days. Please plan your travel to ensure you are not rushing in the morning, as the first session begins promptly at 9:00 AM.
Q3. What is included in the workshop fee of ₹14,999?
The workshop fee of ₹14,999 per person includes everything: all resin and hardener required for all 15 products, all pigments, glitters, gold leaf, and embellishments, all moulds and casting forms, all tools including heat guns and UV torches, gloves and protective equipment, refreshments on both days, all finished products from the hands-on and group sessions to take home, a Liquid Alchemy certificate of completion, and lifetime access to the post-workshop student video portal. The only expense not included is your lunch. There are several good restaurants and food options within walking distance of the location.
Q4. Is lunch provided during the workshop?
Lunch is not provided as part of the workshop fee, but the one-hour lunch break gives you ample time to eat at one of several restaurants and food options within easy walking distance of the studio. Refreshments like tea, coffee, and drinking water are provided throughout both days at no additional cost.
Q5. How do I register for the workshop?
Registration is by enquiry. Q6. How do I pay for the workshop?
Payment is accepted via UPI, bank transfer, or any standard digital payment method. Details are shared directly by the after your registration enquiry is confirmed. You can chose to pay the whole amount at the time of registering for the workshop. Or you can pay an advance of Rs.2000 to confirm your seat and pay the rest of the amount day 1 of the workshop. We do not currently accept payment through the website directly. All bookings are handled personally to ensure every student's questions are answered before committing.
Q7. How far in advance should I register?
As early as possible. Each batch has limited seats to ensure a great student to instructor ratio, and batches typically fill 2–3 weeks before the workshop date. Registering your interest early, even before you are fully certain of the dates, costs nothing and simply means we keep you informed before seats go public. If your preferred batch is full, we will add you to the waitlist for the next available date.
Q8. How often are new batches scheduled?
New batches are scheduled regularly based on demand. The frequency varies, typically once or twice a month during peak periods. The best way to stay informed about new dates is to register your interest on this page or join our notification list. We always announce new batch dates to our waitlist before posting them publicly on Instagram or the website.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Q1. What is the cancellation policy for the workshop?
Cancellations made more than 7 days before the workshop date receive a full refund with no questions asked. Cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop date are not eligible for a refund but can be transferred to a future batch at no additional cost. Transfers must be requested at least 48 hours before the original workshop date. No-shows on the day of the workshop, where no prior cancellation notice has been given, are not eligible for a refund or transfer. We understand that genuine emergencies happen. Please contact us directly on WhatsApp if you face an unexpected situation and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Q2. Can I transfer my seat to someone else?
Yes. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your seat to another person at no additional cost, provided you inform us at least 24 hours before the workshop date. Please share the name and contact details of the person taking your place so we can include them in pre-workshop communications.
Q3. Can I attend only one day of the two-day workshop?
NO. The two days are designed as an integrated programme. Day 1 builds the foundational knowledge and skills that Day 2 directly builds upon. Attending only one day is not offered as an option, as a partial attendance would result in an incomplete and potentially frustrating learning experience. If the dates of a particular batch do not work for you, please register your interest and we will keep you informed of future batches.

Safety and Health
Q1. Is resin safe to work with?
Epoxy resin is safe to work with when proper precautions are followed, which is exactly what we teach in the opening session of Day 1. Gloves are provided and must be worn at all times when handling unmixed or mixed resin. The studio is ventilated to ensure safe air quality during the curing process. Resin that has fully cured is completely inert and safe to handle, display, and use in food-adjacent contexts (like serving trays and coasters, with a food-safe top coat). The key safety measures are: always wear gloves, do not touch your face while working, wash hands thoroughly after handling uncured resin, and work in a ventilated space. All of these are covered in the studio orientation on Day 1.
Q2. Are there any allergies or sensitivities I should be aware of before attending?
Some people experience skin sensitivity or mild allergic reactions to uncured epoxy resin, particularly on prolonged or repeated skin contact. This is why gloves are mandatory throughout the workshop. If you have known skin allergies, eczema, or chemical sensitivities, please inform us at the time of registration so we can ensure appropriate protective measures are in place for you. Resin fumes during curing can cause mild respiratory discomfort in sensitive individuals. The studio is ventilated, but if you have asthma or significant respiratory conditions, please consult your doctor before attending.

Q1. What do I get to take home from the workshop?
You take home all the finished products from your hands-on and group sessions that you individually make. This includes your three coasters, keychains, bookmarks, and a share of the group projects. The products you take home are finished, saleable pieces, not practice samples or rough experiments.
Q2. What is the post-workshop student video portal?
The Liquid Alchemy student portal is an exclusive online resource available only to students who have attended the workshop. Q3. Can I start a resin art business after attending just this workshop?
YES. And this is the explicit goal of the programme. The 6 business sessions are designed to give you everything you need to make your first sales within weeks of completing the workshop. You will leave with few finished products (some of which you can sell immediately), a clear pricing framework, a packaging strategy, a plan for your first 10 customers, and an understanding of how to use Instagram to attract buyers. Many students make their first sale within a month of attending. However, like any business, success depends on consistent effort, practice to improve quality, and the willingness to actively market your work.
